Introducing our bespoke headboard service

While there’s no doubt you’re familiar with our chair, sofa and footstool collections, you may not be as well acquainted with our bespoke headboard offering.

Supporting all your commercial and residential project needs, we are able to design and manufacture orders of all volumes and to any specification, within even the tightest of timeframes.

Material World

Perhaps you’ve already got a fabric selection in mind? Whether you are opting for an elegant velvet, heavy cotton or a chic suede, our design team can work with your preferences.

If, however, you need some inspiration, fear not. We can provide material advice and selections from our trusted partners, including Bute, Camira, Kirkby Fabrics, Kvadrat, Vescom and Sunbury. Each has an extensive range of options in all colours of the rainbow – from Classic Blue to mustard yellow and tangerine. 

It’s all in the details…

Your scheme’s aesthetic will dictate the type of headboard that works best, whether that be a dappled design with buttons or a contemporary satchel style with leather detailing. 

The beauty of specifying headboards through our bespoke service is that you can completely customise them to your needs. And this is exactly how we worked with two recent clients, Conran Contracts and TH2 Designs, for buy-to-rent developments in Battersea and Croydon.

Show and tell

For the brand new No. 26 residential scheme in Croydon, which offers 183 boutique homes, ranging from cosy studio spaces to spacious three bedroom apartments, we created custom wall-hung headboards. These feature on 183 king sized beds, and include strap detailing that provides a high-end aesthetic.

Further up the river, Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s iconic 1930s masterpiece, Battersea Power Station, has undergone a transformation for the 21st Century. The much-loved feature of London’s skyline has been developed into 253 new homes, boasting original brick and steelwork dating back to the 1930s.

To match the heritage style, interior design studio TH2 Designs selected Art Deco inspired fittings to enhance the existing space. This included our bespoke, fully upholstered king size beds. The frames were carefully designed to work harmoniously with the overall scheme, taking creative cues from the building’s architecture.

Integrated headboards, incorporating a faux leather strap and separate cushions upholstered in a trend-led blue velvet, offer a luxurious backrest that is both functional and an interior feature in its own right.
