But why are we showing at 100%?

Our love for London Design Festival
We are huge fans of the week in September when London Design Festival comes to town. We love wandering the capital to see the fresh ideas at Design Junction, craft at London Design Fair and installations at the V&A. We have always visited 100%, and indeed showed in 2015, but have never been truly inspired.
 
When the event organiser called us in early August showing there wasn’t in our plans. However when we heard that 100% Design was officially being integrated into London Design Festival as the West Kensington Design District and inspiring companies like Benchmark, Dare Studio, Arper and Fredericia had decided to jump on board we were more interested!

Changes to 100% Design

The team behind 100% realised that it had lost its direction and so have brought in a raft of changes: a celebration of talented new designers and forward thinking design; renowned designers such as Phillipe Starck presenting their thinking and a bolder marketing campaign to get visitors through the door. This along with the £1 billion regeneration of Olympia led us to feel that this might be the start of something, kick-starting 100% Design to be an inspiring yet commercial show that Roger Lewis could be part of for years to come.

Spreading the Roger Lewis reputation!

The exciting part for Roger Lewis is that since our launch at Clerkenwell Design Week we have been talking to clients and prospective clients about our new and expanding contract range.
Having forty five square meters at 100% Design allows us to make a statement of intent and show that we are now a serious player in the industry and the design maker of choice for many designers’ contract projects.
 
On our stand we will be showing the Atitlán, Annecy, Soller and Sintra in fresh trend fabrics as well as a new compact sofa designed Nick Lewis (see sketch below). Over the coming 12 months we have some incredibly exciting projects we will be launching and over the coming years we will be aiming to spread our reputation of creating fresh and inspiring products.
