Interior design practice ThirdWay Interiors was approached by elite law firm Wikborg Rein to develop the creative concept for its new London office, based near St Paul’s Cathedral. With its Norwegian HQ having recently undergone a refurbishment, an individual look and feel was now needed to define the UK branch of the business.
Scandinavian-inspired design was selected as the route to pursue, but with a British twist. Thirdway combined clean lines and organic textures with a rich colour palette and statement features more typically associated with British decor.

When it came to the furniture, Roger Lewis was a clear choice thanks to its dual British and Scandinavian design influences, and its contemporary, high quality pieces prioritising comfort.
For the reception area, comfortable yet stylish sofas in a subtle grey palette were selected to complement the warm, welcoming ambience. Set against a combination of lightly patterned carpet, wood-effect flooring and minimal lighting, the Scandinavian inspiration is evident. Meanwhile, the addition of plump cushions on the furniture provides a nod towards distinctly British style.
