THE BALMORAL was the stand out design that was then lauded on launch in that September’s London Design Festival. The brief was for a contemporary Chesterfield that had both comfort and style. Reviewing the market we knew that designs in the space looked good but lacked the comfort.
Through a series of meetings in Wiltshire we developed the sofa that were proud to incorporate into our Heal’s range. In 2017, the range was extended to include an upholstered bed that has become a firm favourite with Heal’s customers.

In 2014 the buying team were looking for a ‘compact and contemporary piece that offers superior comfort’ to broaden their private label range. Nick was given a free reign within the brief to let his creativity flow and sketched up a range of ideas. The buying team loved THE CHILTERN, with its clean lines and elegant black metal legs which perfectly encapsulates The Conran Shop design philosophy.
THE ANGELINA was one of five shapes that were developed for launch in 2017. Based on their US designs, we used our market experience to develop the proportions and specification to appeal to their British customers and to comply with British regulations.
To enhance this offering we sourced beautiful Italian linens and British cotton velvets to compliment the patterned fabrics that are so undoubtedly the ‘Anthropologie’ look. We were proud to help create an offering for Anthropologie that rivals any of their key competitors on the high street.
We value long term relationships that benefit our clients as much as they benefit Roger Lewis, ensuring that when we start a relationship it is for the right reasons and like our furniture, has longevity.
